The Star 98 Senior Spotlight is back! Designed to highlight seniors all across East Idaho and their hard work. We are recognizing High School and College seniors, sharing their accomplishments and goals for the future, and giving them the recognition they so richly deserve. Taesha you have always been the beacon of bright light in all that you do. Rather it was volunteering in tge community as Miss Gate City’s Outstanding Teen, or being an exemplary leader as Cheer Captain of your cheer team, or helping your brothers out, or being the best Auntie to your nephew. You have done it all with style, grace, compassion, and kindness. You have started and lit a magnificent path for yourself to do great things and although the end of Senior Year is not what you had hoped you have been a true beacon of light for future generstions to come. I don’t even know where to begin, you have accomplished so much and I am so proud of you. From being one of the Cheer Captains for the last 2 years at Century, and being an All American Cheerleader, I don’t know how many times, to being Athlete of the month, and then Cheerleader of the year. I could fill a page with your accomplishments. I know this ending is not what we had planned but you have been so graceful through it all. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you, I know what ever it is that you will be graceful, beautiful, funny, smart, and will tackle it all. Teagan is our youngest daughter. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 5 years old. During this time she has overcame so many obstacles, both emotionally and physically, pertaining to this disease. A few special nurses inspired her to acknowledge it takes a special person to care for others. Because of those nurses, she has chosen to pursue a nursing degree. We are so proud of her!
This women has worked her butt off these last 6 years and finally graduated college. She is a strong, passionate, amazing human being. I can’t wait to see what she does in this world because whatever it is, she always puts her heart in. I love you J and Congrats! ❤️

Maggie is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She is a friend to every person she comes in contact with. She comes from a fantastic family who are always looking for ways to help their community and in turn Maggie is the same way. Everything she touches turns to gold. After graduation she plans on attending Utah State University in the nursing program so she can give back to her community forever!!

I am proud to announce the graduations of 4 of my grandchildren as 2020 Graduates, representing each of the 3 high schools in Pocatello. (Pictured L to R: Malree, Gavin, Hal, Baylee and Sage)
Malree Bosh – 2020 Graduate of Pocatello High School. Malree participated in Cheer 3 of her 4 years at Poky. She is a fun person to be around. Has a great sense of humor and well loved by all of her family and friends.
Baylee Misner – 2020 Graduate of Century High School. Baylee participated in Softball and Key Club (Just for the free lunch 🙂 . Baylee has a heart of gold and is kind to everyone. She always has a smile on her face and will miss all of her friends in High School!
Sage Hirschi – 2020 Graduate of Highland High School. Sage is the Student body President of Highland High. Sage is the life of the party and is so much fun to be around and always laughing.
Gavin Hirschi – 2020 Graduate of Highland High School. Gavin participated in Football and Wrestling. Gavin always had a huge cheering section from his family, supporting him at his sporting events.
I am very proud of all of my 2020 Graduates and want to wish them the BEST futures possible! The sky is the limit! Keep making your grandpa proud!

2020 was year of learning. Learning new people, teacher, schedules and people. I have loved every minute that I’ve had at MV. It brought people into my life that have changed me for the better. It has given me the opportunity to play Volleyball at the collage level. I’m so excited for the next chapter in my life!!!

Brooklyn has been in the First Responder Academy, EMT program. After graduation she will test to become emergency medical technician certified. In the fall Brooklyn will attend ISU for Emergency Management and Emergency Medical Services.
