This month, we’re recognizing Jeff Eldridge with the Pocatello Police Department.

On Friday August 4th there was a fire that started behind a residence on Hyde St. in Pocatello. It was a very hot and windy day and the fire ran uphill towards adjacent houses. My house was in jeopardy of burning down, as I was in the back yard fighting the fire and keeping my house wet with a garden hose, my wife Melanie was in a panic. Officer Jeff Eldredge and his partner showed up before the fire department and started moving my motorcycles out of my garage, moving cars from my driveway, and calming and taking care of Melanie as she was a basket case. These gentleman went above and beyond their call of duty and deserve special recognition.
