Above the Call is a new event with Rich Broadcasting to thank law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics and others for their service.

Above the Call will take place every Wednesday and we will be honoring someone in service to thank them for all they do. You can nominate someone, if they win, they will receive a plaque with their name on it. We are excited for the opportunity to thank those that make sacrifices everyday for us.

Our next winner is Steven Roberts, Firefighter/EMT/Search and Rescue Volunteer of the Chubbuck Fire Department.

The person who nominated Steven, had this to say about him:

“Steve Roberts volunteers for both Chubbuck Fire Department and Bannock County Emergency Services at an elderly age. I know he probably responds to 90% of all of BCES and Chubbuck Fires paged calls. Whenever Chubbuck Fire Department needs a paid-call position filled, Steve is the first to volunteer. When there is a community education event he is there to support his agencies. He’s fostered relationships with both law enforcement, fire, and EMS. I’ve seen him improve his skills by attending outside training on his own dime and time. Steve is definitely a first responder that goes above and beyond, and I’m proud to work with such an individual!”

Above the Call is made possible with gratitude and appreciation from Rich Broadcasting, Pocatello Nissan Kia and KPVI 6.
